The upper is a bright orange engineered knit with navy Brooks branding and matching navy laces, sitting on the tall white Max midsole with a blue-green gradient swoosh fading across the side. It’s the loudest colorway in the Max 2 range, and it wears that on purpose.

Underneath the color is the same DNA Tuned foam and widened platform that defines the whole Max 2 line. Brooks pushed the stack height further than a standard Glycerin without giving up the stability a taller shoe usually costs you, so the extra cushioning doesn’t come with a wobble.
